The project was made possible thanks to funding from The Screwfix Foundation, Madinah Mosque, Upper Caldecote Methodist Church, Friday Prayers Group, and the generous support of the local community.
“At Keech Hospice, we’ve always believed in caring for the whole person–body, mind and spirit,” said Liz Searle, CEO of Keech Hospice.
“The Multi-Faith Prayer Room is a beautiful expression of that belief. It’s a space where everyone, regardless of faith or background, can find peace, reflect, or simply pause. This project reflects our values of dignity, inclusion and compassion, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created together with the support of our funders and community.”
Nigel Richards, Chaplain at Keech Hospice, added: “Nobody’s grief or journey is the same. This space is for everyone—a room where people can connect, reflect, find peace or even just be still. Faith or no faith, it’s a room for you.”
The Multi-Faith Prayer Room forms part of Keech’s wider therapy and wellbeing services, which include emotional support, music therapy, complementary therapies, and more—all designed to help people live well, for as long as possible.
