From the moment you or a loved one are diagnosed with a life-limiting illness, we offer you FREE medical, physical, practical and emotional care and support, over the phone, in the comfort of your own home, in the community or at our specialist care centre in Luton.

Keech Hospice Care is one of only a few hospices in the country offering both adult care services and children’s care services, plus our vital support extends to our patient’s family and friends too.

When should I get in touch with you?

From the first day you’re diagnosed, we can be there for you, your family and friends, as much or as little as you need us.

So, if you or a loved one have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness including cancer, motor neurone disease, dementia, lung, heart, kidney or liver disease OR if you’re unsure and need to speak to someone, please don’t wait, complete the adult self-refer, children’s services referral or medical professional patient referral form today.

How can you help me?

Being diagnosed with a life-limiting condition doesn’t change who you are. We will help you to continue doing what you love and remain as independent as possible. Right now, you might not know what support you need and that’s OK. Sometimes it just helps to chat things over with someone who understands what you’re going through.

When you get in touch, we’ll listen and suggest options that are right for you. As your needs change, our FREE support will too.

You don’t need to make any decisions right away but just being aware of your options will give you peace of mind so you can make decision’s when you’re ready and continue to enjoy your life.

What will happen if I contact you?

We’ll listen and suggest options that are right for you. We care for people for many years and we’d love to support you and your family and friends.

You can get specialist advice over the phone, in the comfort of your home, in the community or at our specialist centre including, helping you:

• Understand your diagnosis, and access a range of care, support and complementary therapies to help you manage your symptoms, so you can get on with your life
• Discuss how your diagnosis may impact your benefits, work and finances, to ensure you get the financial support you’re entitled to
• Talk confidently to those you love about your diagnosis and connect your family with the services they may need – and if you need us to be with you when you speak with family or friends, we’ll be there for you as we understand it’s sometimes just reassuring to have someone there to answer any difficult questions.
