David and Gloria are regulars here. They may have come for the care but what they’ve found goes far beyond that.
“People think a hospice is where you go to die but I come here to live,” says David, who once went days without speaking to anyone.
Now, the highlight of his week is joining his Keech friends sharing movement, conversation and real connection.
“I’ve made real friends, and I love the stretch and balance group with Nic.”
Across the room, Gloria smiles in agreement.
“Keech doesn’t just wrap me in care Keech is my family,” she says. “We’re like a branch of friendship here. It’s lovely, really lovely.”
She started with hydrotherapy, but like David, now finds joy in being part of every heartbeat of the group.
