About the challenge
Walk one of Britain’s most iconic trails and help Keech Hospice continue our vital care for adults across Bedfordshire and children and their families across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Milton Keynes living with life-limiting conditions.
We’ll be walking Hadrian’s Wall from east to west – but with a twist.
Trekkers can choose the classic 88-mile Wall walk, or go for the full coast-to-coast challenge: an optional 9-mile coastal walk from South Shields into Newcastle on arrival day, followed by the wall itself. This brings your total to 97 miles of true coast-to-coast walking.
Over the week, you’ll traverse dramatic landscapes, discover 2,000 years of history, and experience the camaraderie of taking on a genuine bucket-list adventure – all while raising vital funds for Keech Hospice.
This spectacular route takes you through some of England’s most stunning scenery, from rugged moorland to rolling countryside. You’ll walk alongside ancient Roman forts, explore UNESCO World Heritage sites, and finish your journey overlooking the Solway Firth.
Whether you’re an experienced walker or taking on your first multi-day trek, this fully supported challenge offers the perfect blend of adventure, achievement, and purpose. Our 2023 trekkers told us it was life-changing – now it’s your turn.
