About the challenge

After a fantastic trek along Hadrian’s Wall in 2023, walking from coast to coast, we are excited to be trekking another beautiful part of the English countryside, on the Isle of Wight. Walking the whole of the coastal path on the Isle of Wight is an exhilarating experience, offering a mix of dramatic scenery, charming villages, and a glimpse into the island’s rich history.

The 70 mile (112km) route around the island transports walkers to the top of dramatic chalk cliffs, through picture-perfect coastal villages, along beautiful stretches of golden sand and even past a former royal residence. There’s also a chance to walk in the footsteps of dinosaurs.

We’ll start our journey from Keech Hospice and head to the island together before spending the next five days trekking along the coastline. We’ll enjoy the beautiful scenery along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles and up to historic Cowes.

The group will stay in hotels during the trek, where we’ll get a chance to rest and reflect on the incredible journey we’ve already had, and support each other as we look forward to the next part of the journey.
