Corporate Partnerships

Help us help more adults and children with life-limiting illnesses.

Keech Hospice Care is a natural choice for us to partner up with. We’re proud to have supported the incredible work of the charity through the last 16 years by doing cake bakes, a lottery ‘bonus ball’ syndicate and bring and buy sales. We truly hope every contribution can help a patient or family to receive support, care, fun and friendship.

Simply put, Matched Funding is your raised funds + your employer matched funds.

Matched Funding is one of the best ways to engage employees and boost donations. Many companies have matched funding schemes and it’s an incredibly effective way to give employees the chance to significantly enhance their fundraising.

Also referred to as matched giving, most companies can donate money based on what has been raised, up to £1 for every £1!

Why do it?

  • Doubling your money and being able to donate more.
  • Matching funds for an employee’s fundraising activities.
  • Increasing employee engagement by showing support for the charity they care about.

How can you get involved?

Your first point of call is your place of work. There are many organisations offering some type of match funding scheme, but each organisation may have a different way of doing this.

Do you have a charity champion you can get in touch with and ask?  It may be the
case that your company offer match giving but no one has asked the question before – so do some digging and you will be surprised how much you can get out of this.

Still want to know more……?

Here’s one of our match funding heroes and how they have helped Keech!

“I worked for Barclays for 37 years in a multitude of different areas. Keech is a local charity to me, so I have felt its presence for most of my adult life. Matched funding has a variety of benefits for those taking part, the Corporate involved and of course the charity. It’s a chance to bring together colleagues and contribute to a common goal. I worked under the £ for £ scheme and whatever was raised was doubled by Barclays.”

Payroll Giving allows you to make a regular or one-off donation to Keech Hospice Care from your salary or occupational pension. Your donations are made before income tax is deducted and you only pay tax on what’s left. This means that you’re given tax relief on your donation immediately – and at your highest rate of tax.

Who can use Payroll Giving?

You can use Payroll Giving provided both of the following apply.

  • You’re an employee or you get an occupational pension and your employer/pension provider deducts tax through the PAYE system.
  • Your employer or pension provider operates a Payroll Giving scheme.

If your employer or pension provider doesn’t operate a scheme, you could ask if they would be willing to start one. Find out more at HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
