Help our gardening team to develop and maintain our beautifully landscaped gardens enjoyed by patients and their families. Tasks will vary season to season.
• Tree and shrub planting, potting new plants and seedlings.
• Hedge trimming and grass cutting, pruning and weeding.
• Leaf collection and general upkeep of garden spaces
• Other supportive duties from time to time.
Help the team in the Adult In-Patient Unit in their day to day administrative tasks – weekends only.
• Undertake administrative tasks, including, maintaining filing systems, faxing & photocopying of documents, answering phone calls, and taking and passing on messages as appropriate.
• Understanding of what GDPR and confidentiality are, why they are important, and how to apply that to your work.
• Other supportive duties from time to time.
To be part of the committee to assist in formulating the clinical and support assurance needs of Keech Hospice Care. You must have experience of organisational performance, risk management and control and familiarisation with a broad range of strategies to assess and manage corporate risk. You will also have proven experience of improving performance while maintaining high service standards and ensuring value for money.
Supervise the hydrotherapy pool and its users, on a regular basis, weekday mornings or afternoons.
• Must be a qualified lifeguard (full training can be provided for those who do not have the NLPQ) and a strong and confident swimmer.
• Ensure safety of all persons in pool area, such as enforcing pool rules, operating hoist equipment, testing pool water, providing swim aids, assisting in rescue/first aid.
