We’re not strangers to the iconic Wild In Art trails (Remember – The Big Trunk Trail in 2021?) and our next one is set to be bigger, better and brighter than before. This unique free art trail across Luton will feature over 90 hares (and a few tortoises too). Both big and small, our characters will be placed across Luton’s key landmarks, streets and open spaces, bringing our community together once again.

Each sculpture will be sponsored by a business and individually designed by an artist. On Saturday 6 July 2024 the sculptures will parade into Luton – before leaving on Thursday 12 September 2024.

You’ll be able to #TakeAShelfie and see your favourite sculptures one last time at a final farewell event from 27 September – 29 September 2024. After this, the legacy of The Short Tail Trail continues when our sculptures are auctioned on Thursday 3 October 2024 to raise vital funds for Keech Hospice Care.
